This is my review 5 days after installing the dock...
Pros
--Box was in good condition, packed and shipped well
--Setup was very easy
--Good hard plastic, does not feel cheap
--Nice Design
--Phone fits securely (Galaxy S4)
--Mount holds to window firmly
--App for phone is nice and functional (free)
--Long Cord (usb and "line in" input split...nice feature imho)
Con
--Only one, and this may not be a con to some. The Micro USB cable that goes from the dock to the phone is pretty stiff. Had to bend it to make sure it was not putting too much tension on the MicroUSB port on the phone. Other than that... 5 Thumbs up!!
Other than that, get this thing! Best one I have seen out there. Company seems to have nice support, but I really had no reason to use it. Setup was easy, and no problems with the dock.

I've always bought cheap phone mounts, and you get what you pay for. This mount is solid as a rock, mounted to windshield on the first try and doesn't move!
BalasHapusCustomer service was responsive as I have a Samsung Galaxy with the ZeroLemon extended battery pack and wanted to be sure the phone would fit. They checked into and got right back to me with an answer.
I'll be buying another one for my wife's phone!
First off let me say the fact that I was hesitant about buying this dock becwuse of the way it attached to the vehicle. But it is solid on the window. I have a F150 FX4 wich is the actual off road version. I am a carpenter as well so I drive on some rough terrain and am not ginger with my phone or dock. So I tried installing it on my windshield first to see how it would do. I put it just to the right of my rear view mirror up high out of the way so I could still have a clear field of view. It stuck like a champ the first try and has not moved since. I have been driving off road and over big bumps and all kinds off stuff and my phone stays right where I put it. The docking screen comes right up when you plug in the connecter from the dock. It makes the not my own gps/ music video/ phone assistant. Awesome buy and build quality. Love it.
BalasHapusTo me this has to be the best car dock that I have owned,when it's on the windshield it doesn't shake ,it is built solid ,works with my droidx2.accepts the Motorola charging cord also.It holds the phone in place
BalasHapusI've tried others, but none are as easy or well designed. Easy to adjust and easy to mount and unmount the phone. This is the one to get!
BalasHapusI own a 2013 Elantra. Bought this product few days ago for my Samsung Galxy Note 2, I got both the iBOLT xProDock along with 10ft cable. When I connect it to the charging port in the car and connected the microUSB from the Dock to the phone, it wouldn't charge. Some issues with the dock/cable. Have filed a claim, I will update this review once I get a reply.

Received a call from iBOLT customer service the day I filed a claim. They have sent me a new set of charging cable (10ft cable + microUSB cable). I will test the new set of charging cables and update this review. I have increased the rating from 1 to 3 stars for their quick customer service.
Feb 18 Update:
The cable I received has the same kind of charging issue. Phone has a charge drop of 1% for an average of 6 minutes even when it is in the dock and charging. Please look into the images for more details. Hope this issue will be resolved. If not, i have to send the product back.

Got the issues fixed. Excellent car dock. Sturdy and tough built. Using it along with my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 as a Dash Cam dock too!
Excellent customer support. They were in constant contact, very prompt and swift in response. I recommend this product with Five stars.
This dock is great. I was having trouble with my Dedicated GPS so I decided to replace it with my phone. This item is just what I needed. It works great and came with the charge aux cable. It mounted perfectly and works great. I also downloaded the iBolt app for my Note 2 and it makes this dock even better. The only issue I have is the phone vibrates a little on rough roads. I am working on getting it adjusted where I want it then lock it down good. I do drive a sports car on some pretty rough roads so for the most part it works great and does not vibrate. This Dock with the app and Google now are better than any stand alone GPS I have owned

I was kinda sceptic about paying that much for it, of all the cheap ones on here, but this thing rocks. sturdy, well built. excellent product for the money.
BalasHapusI purchased this one for my Honda Fit, to use the phone as a GPS. The suction cup attaches very well to my dash, even without the disc. The charging cable fits just right. I use it with a Samsung Note 2, fitted inside an Otter case, and it fits very well. It is robustly made and I highly recommend it.
