I couldn't wait to get these ear buds. For quite a few years, I couldn't get earbuds to fit well in my ears. They would press in easy enough, but after a while, my ears began to throb. It never occurred to me, until I saw these, that they made ANYTHING smaller.
I am so happy about Subjekt HPM-21BL HerPhones! The normal casing on the bud itself is approximately 9mm, while these are 8mm and the speaker is the same. It sounded like my music was closer and had better quality. Best of all, no aching ears! After running through a couple dozen pairs of buds over the past 4 years, I've finally found the ones I love. I give these five stars. Thank you Subjekt!
P.S. These might also be appropriate for kids, given the size of the ear gels.

BalasHapusThese are great! The sound quality is fine, comparable to the Apple headphones I have that fall out. All the other headphones I have owned that fit into the ear have been too big. I have to force them in, and it hurts so much after a while. These fit perfectly. They also work for phone calls and have a similar button to hang up calls and such. This has been a great replacement for all the other basic headphones I've owned.
BalasHapusFirst off, I am petite and yes, I have smallish ears, everything about me is a little small, so these headphones are a perfect fit for me. Plus they sound good. Comfortable headphones which deliver good sound. Sounds like a five star review to me.

BalasHapusI've read that for most people, their ears are between 1/3 and 1/2 the length of the head. Really. If you look at a photo of a group of people and start measuring the length of the ears and comparing it to the length of the head, it will be between 1/3 and 1/2, which is why art teachers tell you to make ears that size when making a realistic drawing. (I just did exactly that when looking at a huge family reunion picture).
BalasHapusHowever, I have teeny ears, as does my sister. We have never been able to find comfortable earbuds or in-ear earphones, because everything is so darned big. Not these. These Subjekt HPM-21BL HerPhones Petite Earphones with Microphone Designed for Small Ears - Wired Headsets - Retail Packaging - Blue actually fit my teeny little ears! I don't have to try and smoosh down the silicone "pillows" to try and keep the earplug from trying to enlarge my ear if I want something with decent sound.
And the sound is pretty darned good. I am no audiophile, but these earphones gave me realistic reproduction of television, movies, music, and spoken word (on a iPad, MacBook and Kindle). I thought the sound was terrific, and the little earphones were impossible for my bigger-eared family members to swipe. I'm not saying that any of them are Dumbo or anything like that, just that I have little "mouse ears," as my mother calls them. Hmm. I wonder if she is thinking Mickey-sized, which is definitely wrong!
Enough of my family's insanity. Try these earphones, they're very good.
If you listen to Electronic music like Dubstep, then you'll love these headphones. I don't run with these headphones, however I imagine that these would work OK. But as I said in the title, the Bass on these headphones can only be compared to Dr. Dre's Beats (and Believe me I own a pair). To be more descriptive, it's like having a percussion instrument in your ear. I can actually feel the beats in my ear. Highly recommend if you love bass/percussion.
BalasHapusFrom the clean sound to the comfort of not having the buds fall out of my ears, these Herphones are my new favorite earbuds. I like the way they fit right out of the box, though they come with different sized ear pieces. They are sturdy and really simple but nice looking. I first tried them with Mozart's Requiem and heard every sound with no background noise. I plugged them into my phone and used them with phone calls and music on my phone and they work perfectly. These are great for videos, music and movies. The cord is a nice rubbery cord that is easy to undo tangles with and the cord has a pause button you can push if you need to hear or talk to someone-really cool.
BalasHapusAnother thing I loved about these is that the packaging was no hassle. They come in a nice little box that you open and can use the headphones right out of the box. No frustrating molded plastic. For the price, these are great, well made buds that are made for people with smaller ears. Why no one thought of that sooner, I have no idea, but they work realy well for me and they come with one set of larger buds and one set of smaller buds to fit a wide range of petite ears!
I've never gotten a pair of earbuds to fit comfortably in my small ears. These really are small and felt comfortable. They were good with the silicone covers that were on them, but they also came with two other sizes...so I'm guessing that they'd fit almost anyone with normal to small ears. I've got hands-free calling built-in in my car, so I won't need the microphone feature on these all that often, but I've used it and it seems to work well...a clear call from both ends. I use them primarily when traveling, to either listen to music or watch a movie and am quite happy with them. While I got them for free through Amazon Vine, I think that, based on other earbuds I've purchased and not been happy with, they are worth the current sales price of around $20.

BalasHapus- The sound is excellent. I (being NOT an audiophile) could hear details of the music.
- Microphone works well
- Inline switch to pause and play the music works fine
- No annoying friction sound from cables when they touch and rub against clothes - even when walking
- Color is great
I am a medium sized male and the largest supplied inserts fit perfectly in my ear canal. (Product is supplied with 3 pairs of inserts.)
I am VERY satisfied with this product and would recommend it.
