I got this app back when I had my Droid Incredible 1 on Verizon, a long time ago and it's always been great. Since then I've replaced my car and changed phones 3 times, and all the while the only thing that stayed constant is this app; it keeps good records of everything I do to my car. It's simple, no bull and straightforward and adding fill up records is surprisingly easy. I have bought a Nexus 10 tablet and downloaded it to my tablet as well, but found that the interface stretches and looks pixelated so I was wondering if they could update the app for tablets and allow syncing across devices (to be fair the Nexus 10's high dpi adds to the pixelation). Currently I save my database to dropbox and download it to my tablet and this keeps me updated but it could be easier. Also wish they could make a Windows 8 app or a web interface but I understand that's a very tall order.

This tracks EVERYTHING, including your gas mileage. I like that it doesn't lock you into certain measurements, like changing your oil every three months or 3,000 miles. I'm not a big fan of how it has you set everything based on both mileage and time but I just set the time to the maximum allowance so I hit the mileage first.
BalasHapusI track three different cars (one being a motorcycle) and it is hard to remember how all three of them have been serviced. This is a great way to stay on top of the required maintenance especially since you are looking at it every time you are adding gas to your car. Granted, you won't be tacking a fleet of cars, but if this can handle three with the greatest of ease then this will be great for any family.
The price of the app is perfect, especially since the maintenance itself is where the real money is spent... and saved considering the life you can add to a car with proper maintenance.
My only complaint is that it doesn't have car types for motorcycles. I just put it under 'Other' and don't have things serviced like the windshield wipers and things. So it works for the motorcycle, but I'd love it if they would build motorcycles into this. It would even increase the potential market of this app for the developers.
very helpful. I'm constantly forgetting something with one of the vehicles. one problem I noticed so far is NJ has two year inspections. the program defaults to one year. very awesome app and free too. hg amazon
BalasHapusIt's an great app for what it does - especially if you don't get the oil changed at the shop that does your other maintenance.
BalasHapusTheir defaults for things like tire rotations are way too long but you can change the default mileage intervals for all vehicles under the Maintenance menu. They should make this customizable per vehicle.
Really liking this app now that I've had it for a little while now. Wish I could tweak some stuff though, put more info. in and be able to get rid of things that I think really isn't needed. But for the most part it really does help you keep track of what needs to be done. Just need to remember to input the data!!! It would be really cool if it could link with the desktop so you can see it a little better and print if you needed to (just a thought). Thanks again for this app!

BalasHapusBeen using this for a while and it does what it's supposed to. I probably would have given it 4 stars until I had to rebuild my phone the other day and found that it had been quietly backing up my data to the cloud. Without that, I would have lost all my electronic maintenance records. Now it's a 5 for saving me the work of reentering all that data.

BalasHapusI was looking for an app to monitor my motorcycle's maintenance. when I downloaded this app was nicely surprised that it had the Harley Davidson logo ready. Now my oil changes and regular maintenance items are where I need them. On my Phone.
BalasHapusPretty much what I was looking for. Does everything, including customizable fields for each interval for those of us that don't go by the "recommended" everyday settings or those with older vehicles which require more frequent changes.
